A Spoonful Of Sherman

The new year got underway on January 3rd for Colin, with rehearsals for the new show "A Spoonful Of Sherman".  This new show produced by Robert J. Sherman for two nights in the St. James Theatre studio in London, was a great hit with public and critics alike, and will be returning for more dates very soon in 2014.

Vocal Coaching

Colin is always in demand for his vocal coaching workshops.   His passion and commitment to helping students and young people find their voices always makes for a very dynamic session.   Already in 2014 Colin has provided workshops for and Arabesque School Of Performing Arts.  During February & March he will be conducting four workshop sessions with students from the Chichester Festival Youth Theatre.               

The Diamantes...

During the second half of 2013 Colin was engaged by Reach Entertainment to musically supervise, orchestrate and produce a 45 minute Motown act for the company - "The Diamantes".  You can take a look at the girls' promo video here -



JUNE 2013

Edinburgh Festival

Colin is pleased to announce he will be musical supervisor for the UK professional premiere of the #stagey Broadway musical [Title of Show]. The show premieres at this summer's Edinburgh Fringe Festival. More information can be found on the show page here....

This will be the second show Colin is supervising at this summer's festival - as he is already working with Augment Productions on their debut production of the new musical "Arthur's Quest".


Attend the tale of Sweeney Todd.....

Colin was engaged by Chichester Festival Theatre to present a workshop day for students aged 12-16 based on the theatre's current massively acclaimed production of Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd. The workshop was a huge success and Colin looks forward to returning to Chichester in the future. the Pantomime season approaches

Colin will be working on two pantomime productions this season. Colin is musical supervisor for Beauty & The Beast at Millfield Arts Centre in London, and is also musical director for Cinderella at the Connaught Theatre, Worthing - a production for which Colin is also acting as orchestrator and arranger, including producing the high quality backing tracks that are used along with the live band. Bugle Boy - The Glenn Miller Story

Colin has recently completed a short run as musical director on a try-out tour of this new musical.

Featuring a live 16 piece big band on stage and a company of 9 actors, the show played 3 regional venues during September before a one night industry showcase at the Garrick Theatre in the west end.

Initial feedback from the show is excellent - so watch this space for future developments.

Lend Me A Tenor at the Gielgud Theatre

Lend Me a Tenor

Lend Me A Tenor - the musical had its first preview at the Gielgud Theatre last night with Colin conducting the 14 piece orchestra and 27 strong company. Brad Carroll's wonderful score came to life in front of a London audience thanks to fantastic orchestrations by Chris Walker. The amazing response of the full house audience, including spontaneous standing ovation at the end bodes well for the future of the show. Previews continue until the Press Night on June 15th. Bright Lights Big City

Colin is currently working with students at London School of Musical Theatre as musical director of Paul Scott Goodman’s musical interpretation of Jay McInerney's cult novel set amongst the hedonistic temptations of 1980's New York City. Directed by Graham Hubbard with choreography by Paul Kitson & Bob J Harms the show will run for a week at the Bridewell Theatre, London starting May 3rd.
